GLAZING TAPES (AAMA APPROVED)

Our new AAMA Approved Glazing Tape has excellent bonding capabilities with wood, aluminum, stainless steel and PVC window frames.  This tape is designed to block water, moisture, light, and dust.  It also has excellent resistance to UV, weathering, oxidation, and temperature variation and is supplied with a non-tear blue film liner.

Series GLZ 3500 is available in 1/16” and 1/8” thicknesses and Series GLZ 5500 is 1/32” thick.  Both series incorporate a new and improved adhesive system which provides greater initial tack along with an improved release liner for easy application.

STRUCTURAL GLAZING TAPES (AAMA APPROVED)

3M™ VHB™ Structural Glazing Tape has been proven in thousands of international buildings since 1990 as an alternative to structural silicone and spacer tape.  3M™ VHB™ Structural Glazing Tape is a high performance double-coated pressure sensitive acrylic foam tape.  It is used to attach glass to metal frame in glass curtain wall systems replacing commonly used mechanical fasteners, gaskets, spacer tape, and/or structural silicone sealants.  Application performance and test results demonstrate the outstanding durability, UV resistance and temperature performance of 3M™ VHB™ Tape acrylic foam chemistry.

Saint-Gobain (Norton). Thermalbond V2100® high strength polyurethane foam substrate for structural glazing and cladding. T-Bond II V2200® semi-rigid polyurethane foam substrate used as a structural glazing and cladding spacer system for in-shop fabrication.  Available in a variety of thicknesses and widths coated either one or two sides with adhesive.

3M™ VHB™ Window Tape

3M VHB Muntintape

3M™ VHB™ Window Tape is a conformable double-coated pressure sensitive acrylic foam tape with a chemistry that has outstanding durability, UV resistance and temperature performance.  Unlike other foam tapes, the high strength acrylic foam is viscoelastic in nature which gives energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties that provides this tape with its unique characteristics.

Excellent adhesion to a broad range of high and medium surface energy substrates common in the Window & Door Industry including glass, metal, vinyl, composite materials and many paint formulations.

Muntin Bumpers

MUNTIN BUMPERS

Self-Adhesive Polyurethane Bumpers perfect for vibration and shock dampening on muntins (grid systems) as well as for mirrored and other interior doors (no plasticizers, oils, or fillers).  This product is available conveniently kiss cut on sheets.

CLEAR PLASTIC DISCS

Clear Plastic Discs measure .040" Thick x 3/4" Diameter, and are used as desk buttons and spacers under glass tops. The anti-slip disc becomes almost invisible allowing the natural colors of the wood or the metal furniture to show through.  Other sizes and materials are available.

RETICULATED FOAM PADS

Reticulated foam pads for weep hole gaskets are available in custom sizes to fit your application.  Our most common requested densities are: 10 PPI and 30 PPI, other densities are available.

FOAM WRAP TAPE

Polyether Foam which is used to provide a seal between the window and the framed opening.  Just peel off the paper liner and stick it to the window frame, it's that easy.  Available in uncompressed and compressed format (Less shipping costs and inventory space).

Chimney Blocks

CHIMNEY BLOCKS

Also known as Jamb Plugs as well as Air Dams are custom designed to block the noise created by air flow through the jamb.

DIE CUT WINDOW GASKETS

Our most common window gaskets are custom designed to seal mechanically fastened windows.  Typically made from Cross Linked Polyethylene with pressure sensitive adhesive backing can be fabricated from a number of different materials.

Additional gaskets for the window and door industry include; Threshold Gaskets, Sill Pads, Hardware Gaskets, etc.

3M™ WINDOW & DOOR PROTECTIVE UV FILMS

3M Window & Door Protective UV Films

Tough protection against dirt, debris, and the sun, 3M&trade, Window and Door Protective UV Films temporarily protect the beauty of and quality of window and door surfaces exposed to dirt, debris, and sunlight during manufacture, storage, transit, and installation.  Combination of durable film backing and pressure sensitive adhesive system provide benefits to the manufacturer, installer, and end user:

  • UV protection for up to 5 months for the clear film and 3 months for the blue film (unlike most other tapes, both the film and adhesive resist sunlight degradation)
  • Resists abrasion encountered in shipping and on construction sites
  • Sticks on contact, holds reliably, and removes easily and cleanly by the installer or end user
  • Choice of transparent blue or clear film.  Blue allows for easy detection on glass (both allow visual inspection of surface)

Protect interior or exterior, smooth or textured surfaces

  • Metal, glass, vinyl, stained and unstained wood of windows, doors, and garage doors
  • Architectural building panels
  • Chrome, anodized aluminum, and stainless steel
  • Many types of plastic
