How Did You Initially Partner with Frank Lowe?
I initially met Anthony from Frank Lowe at a powder-coating convention. They had a booth set up and were demonstrating a relatively new product — WOW Pads. I was instinctively intrigued because I like to stay in the know about industry happenings. Afterward, I connected with Anthony from Frank Lowe to explore whether WOW Pads could actually help our business.
He asked me a few questions and sent me die-cut samples. Once we received our WOW Pads and tested them out on a few different components, we immediately saw the difference.
How Are WOW Pads Different from Other Packaging Materials?
First and foremost, WOW Pads get an A+ on the eye test because they are aesthetically pleasing. In addition, they are extremely easy to apply and doesn't seem to cause paint or powder-coat damage like some other adhesives can. The actual pads are slim, compact, and barely noticeable. And they create excellent visibility and separation between sheets of product.
Even though we use significantly less in materials with WOW Pads, they offer exceptional performance. WOW Pads give us the multi-dimensional protection we expect with additional benefits we didn't.
What Materials Were You Using Previously?
Before WOW Pads, we used a lot of cardboard and foam. And don't get us wrong, the foam we previously used worked well. But we often wondered how much was too much and whether more was really better.
At the end of the day, our goal is to protect our craftsmanship and ensure our customers experience the exceptional detail we infuse into each product. I will admit that we may have overdid it with cardboard and foam packaging. Even though our intentions were noble, our customers actually complained they had garbage bags upon garbage bags of packaging material. They joked they would need to schedule a separate trash pickup just for packaging materials. WOW Pads create a micro fraction of the waste
Another unique attribute of WOW Pads our customers have noticed is the way they create a protective barrier of visible space. Our customers love to quickly look between products and see perfectly-divided space. It puts everyone's minds at ease because it's visible the separation exists, which means no bumping or friction that causes damage. This wasn't possible with cardboard, foam, or bubble wrap — primarily because we had to cover the product to ship.

Absolutely! We're just beginning to see the cost savings on this because we are no longer buying those enormous rolls of foam or cardboard. Our previous packing solutions were extremely large and took up a lot of space and put our shipping department under undue stress. Since we started using WOW Pads, we have gained a considerable amount of space that can be used for virtually anything else.
